An energizing shu pu-erh with a classic profile from the renowned Menghai region.

This cake was crafted to highlight the signature notes that tea lovers seek in Menghai pu-erh: spiciness, nuttiness, and creaminess. Through a custom blend of leaves from several tea gardens with large old trees, and with the help of an experienced tea master, we’ve achieved that very “true Menghai” flavor. A high content of tea buds adds a distinct energizing effect.

Aroma

Thick, woody, and enveloping.

Taste & Aftertaste

Bright and expressive, with woody-nutty tones and hints of roasted almond. The aftertaste has a chocolate-like bitterness. A strong tea with excellent aging potential.

Fermented in 2021, pressed in 2023. Menghai County, Xishuangbanna Prefecture, Yunnan, China.
